Tell Me About Yourself
The Story
If you’re reading this, you’re probably trying to understand how I think, not just what I’ve done.
I’m an engineer by training. I started my career in structured, technical environments where accuracy, documentation, and coordination mattered more than speed. Those early roles taught me how large systems work and why discipline matters.
Over time, my work naturally moved closer to the business side. Not because I wanted to leave engineering, but because many problems didn’t stop at technical boundaries. Someone still had to explain trade-offs, align people, and move decisions forward.
That’s where I found myself most useful.
Current Career,
I’m currently working in an aerospace startup environment where roles aren’t clearly defined. On paper, I’m an engineer. In practice, I spend most of my time bridging engineering, commercial discussions, and execution.
Some days that means technical work. Other days it means representing the company in meetings, preparing materials for leadership, or working through ambiguity with external partners. I’m comfortable in that space because I’ve learned to focus on outcomes rather than titles.
My Way of Working is Simple.
I adapt quickly to new environments and expectations. I’m comfortable working independently and remotely, but I’m always reachable when alignment matters. And when I take ownership of something, I see it through properly. I don’t need constant supervision, and I don’t disappear when things get difficult.
I’m drawn to roles where engineering judgment, business context, and execution overlap. I’m less interested in staying inside a narrow box, and more interested in work that compounds. Building systems, improving processes, and helping teams move with clarity.
Outside of formal work, I spend time mentoring students and documenting what I learn. Teaching sharpens my thinking, and writing helps me reflect and improve.
Next Step
If you’re looking for someone who can operate with context, communicate clearly, and take responsibility without needing a rigid playbook, we’ll probably work well together. If not, that’s okay too. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
