Because we don’t have time. Yeah that’s why. We always choose something interesting in the first 2 seconds without thinking.
1. Be creative
Think of your Hero image like a movie poster at the cinema, like a thumbnail on Youtube or food flyers that are given on the streets. Even though we don’t know how good that movie, video and food is, it gives us an urge to try.
When your ideal audiences click your link the first thing they will see is your catchy headline with your awesome hero image. That’ll make them go through your funnel all the way down. Be original in making a hero image. Since it’s the first impression you are giving towards your audience.
2. Get inspirations
I love one of the hero images of Clickfunnel ads where it shows Russel giving a speech on the stage or giving the awards. It gives me shivers every time I see those pictures. Start by looking at others’ hero image. Simple as that. Implement their hero image by using your own picture.
Look in Pinterest, Dribble and Awwwards website to get great examples there. There are tons of other websites but these 3 websites are enough for now.
3. Test it out.
There’ll be nothing if you don’t test it out. Try to change different headlines, image pose , colors etc. That’s how you know which hero image will click the most. Don’t stress out that you need to change all of those since small changes are noticeable. No need to ramp out all of your funnel design and copy just change little by little. Time will show.
Don’t forget to test with your competitors that are more successful than you. Since you can study a lot by that alone. We are not jealous of them but we are trying to improve our business to give the best to our customers.
That’s a wrap.
