A Way of Giving Back to My Teachers and School

What I Worked On

I studied at MRSM, a Malaysian boarding school known for nurturing high-performing science students. Admission was competitive. At the time, selection required strong national examination results (UPSR), followed by an interview process. Being accepted into MRSM was both an opportunity and a responsibility.

MRSM culture is built on academic competitiveness not only among different MRSM campuses, but also alongside other elite boarding schools in Malaysia. That environment shaped how many of us think: disciplined, driven, and constantly benchmarking ourselves against higher standards.

In 2024, our alumni association, ANSARA Tumpat, was officially formalized under the national MRSM Alumni network. The establishment required coordination, documentation, and collective effort from alumni committed to building a structured community platform. It was a meaningful milestone not just administratively, but symbolically.

I currently serve as a Committee Member under the Membership Bureau, supporting member registration, engagement, and structural development of the alumni body.

For me, joining ANSARA is not about nostalgia. It is about continuity. The same system that shaped us academically now depends on its alumni to maintain connections, create opportunities, and support future cohorts.

Staying involved allows me to contribute to a community that once contributed to me.
