If you randomly google the word “funnel” the search index directly shows a funnel. The upside down triangle if we see it in 2D. You always heard that we designers or you yourself can’t design without content. Hereby I give you the secret of us designers that we use in our Super Saiyan mode when we design based on our clients’ copy.
Funnels I usually divide funnels into 3 parts which are top, center and bottom.
Top.
Start with the top which is headlines first. Why not a hero image? It is still on top but headlines come first. Your headlines should be able to hook as many people as you can. It doesn’t matter either hundreds, thousands, or millions since we are at the biggest radius of the funnel. Absorbs all kinds of people even if it is slightly run from your niche because most of the audience doesn’t realize they need our help. I myself don’t realize that I need an airpod now before Apple shows me how easy I can workout without the wires of earpods. Gather all of them as much as you could with your headline. Yummy.
Center.
This part is where the roller coaster ride begins. As I mentioned in previous posts that every funnel needs the flow. Your funnel’s center part plays a crucial role where your Ninja Warriors can beat all of the obstacles (information) that you pour your heart out. Some will leave your funnel, some will stay because of how thrilled they are of your funnel. Give them the ride because we humans are greedy. I admit I am a greedy person, that’s why I am here with you (smirk face). Filter all them out with your content because we want the precious gem.
Bottom.
The finale of an act from your funnel. This is where your offer should be irresistible. All of your finalists should know what kind of award they’ll receive at the end of their journey. Be the Genie of Aladdin’s magic lamp. Show them their true desire (I think I sound like a villain right now). Price is just numbers while values are not digits that can’t be counted. Can you imagine how happy you are when you receive your first born baby? Can people give you the scale of your happiness? Of course the feeling is out of scale. Same goes for your offer.
Hook at the top, filter at the center and catch at the bottom. That’s how you funnel it through.
